Today we took a tour of the Vaux le Vicomte, the chateau built in 1661 for King Louis XIV's Finance Minister, Nicolas Fouquet. Every room in the palace has special Christmas decorations on display, and every room's theme is different. After touring the inside, we strolled the palace grounds complete with formal gardens with fountains and reflecting pools.
Doesn't that history fascinate you? So much older than american history. It always blows my mind
